Morris Minor Series II Split Screen - 1955 (N/A) - Green Saloon

Designed under the leadership of Sir Alec Issigonis, the Morris Minor was unveiled at the Earls Court Motor Show in London on 20th September 1948 and more than 1.3 million were manufactured between 1948 and when production finished in 1971.
This Series II 'split screen' Minor was first registered on 25th March 1955 and has just been the subject of a two year 'Nut & Bolt' rebuild by the owner.
The work included new panels, a complete new custom made leather interior, new Chromework, new rubber seals, new suspension components, Brakes, wiring and a 1098cc Engine and 4 Speed Gearbox were installed.
Only One owner from new until he sold it in 2006 to a garage and it was stored by them until sold to the current owner in 2010 for restoration.
He has lovingly rebuilt the car over the 2 years and it is in truly exceptional condition throughout and is beautiful to drive. Less than 500 miles have been covered since it was finished and it has to been seen in the flesh to appreciate the quality of the workmanship.
